I've heard reports of small Internet Access vendors running entirely
off of linux boxes and using the Cygnus Network Security Free Network
Release to secure it -- client and server. See http://www.cygnus.com/data/cns
for details on how to get it.

Also, Ted and I both build the MIT V5 release on our linux boxes
(mostly because our linux machines are faster than our suns :-)

Has anyone been able to get the kerberos server to compile and function on
a Linux box? I have seen a port of the client, but none of the
   server.
