We have kerberos verifying ppp conections comming in over a Xyplex terminal
server model 1620 running ver V5.3.1. with kerberos V5.5 but once we had it
up on the server it only took a bit of time for the terminal server to
issue PAP requests to the incomming connections for verification.
This should be the steps, to get it up & running.
def server kerberos five enabled
init
def server kerberos master .................
def server kerberos primary server ...............
def server kerberos realm ...........
def server kerberos security login
init
def port all ppp pap kerberos
logout port all
doing a show unit should have kerberos 5 as a enabled feature.
doing a show port X ppp char should show authentication as K-PAP
thats about all there is to it .
