We are curently seting up kerberos v5.5 to verify users comming in via a PPP
server.

This is all setup & working fine. however I want to get kpasswd running from
another machine so that users can login to this machine to change their
passwords.

however the problem I get is that kpasswd returns

578 jzentvel@alsvid> /tmp/kpasswd
   Enter old password:
/tmp/kpasswd: cannot find server for this realm.

on the system runing krb5kdc I get a log mesg of

May 26 15:57:10 cyclops krb5kdc[2959]: AS_REQ: Server not found in Kerberos
data base while processing request from jzentvel@SCU.EDU.AU for
changepw/SCU.EDU.AU@SCU.EDU.AU

however I can run kinit with no problems.

can anyone offer any pointers as to where the problem might be.

Thanks for any sugestions

PS I also want to subscribe to the kerberos list.
can someone tell me the email address to send the subscribe mesg to ?
