I agree that if you want to put up a simple Kerberos configuration to
learn how it works and to begin educating your users, third parties can
be very helpful. I have had excellent experience with TGV's Multinet
Authentication Services, software from Cygnus, and Cybersafe (formerly
OCSG) and FTP, Inc. Start with one platform if you can and work out
from there, solving the interoperability issues as you go. E-mail me
privately if you want to, because I have Kerberos up and running and I
am no programmer.
