The KDC and kinit seem to work fine so far. However, I cannot
get sim_client, sim_server, sclient and sserver to work. Here's what I
get when running sim_client and sim_server:
strauss:~/mit/beta5/src/appl/simple/server> ./sim_server
sample/strauss.udel.edu
Received 475 bytes
Got authentication info from flaregun@UDEL-TEST-REALM
Received 118 bytes
./sim_server: Incorrect net address while verifying SAFE message
strauss:~/mit/beta5/src/appl/simple/client> ./sim_client strauss hello
Got credentials for sample.
Sent authentication data: 475 bytes
Sent checksummed message: 118 bytes
Sent encrypted message: 115 bytes
When I run sclient and sserver, I get a message on the syslog:
May 16 21:09:55 polycut.nss.udel.edu sserver: recvauth failed--Bad file
number
and sclient quits with:
sclient: Software caused connection abort while using sendauth
Has anyone seen these problems? I have installed the patch for
lib/krb5/os/mk_faddr.c.
Thanks,
Ed
