I have been looking around for a Kerberos server on OpenVMS 6.x. (I noticed
somebody asked this question a couple of days ago as well). The only thing
I have come across is TGV Multinet. It seems to include a Kerberos server.

Has anybody used this authenticator? I have access to UCX under our DEC CSLG.
Any comments on the value/worth of buying MultiNet? Anybody heard of a
VMS/UCX product?

As an alternative, I'm thinking about setting kerberos up on a Mac running
MacOS or A/UX (or even maybe an old pc ;-). Any thoughts?

Ultimately, I'm looking to set up a Kerberos server to work with a
DECserver700 in order to control/secure SLIP and PPP connections.

Please respond directly to me and I will summerize.

Thanks,
