I downloaded kerberos4 from ftp://athena-dist.mit.edu/pub/kerberos/dist/921209.
There was a readme.krb file that instructed:
concatenate xxx.z.aa with xxx.z.ab and then apply patch file #9.
I assume this documentation is not up to date and it should be patch file
#10. However, there was not a patch file in the directory(9 or 10). I
looked in ftp://athena-dist.mit.edu/pub/kerberos/patch and foud patch9.
The documentation for this looked like patch8 is a prerequisite. Do I need
to apply a patch kit? If so what patch should I use and where can I get it?
Also, there was a install.ps file at the above site, this instructed to
edit the [source_dir]/include/krb.h file to enter the realm name. I do not
have a [source_dir]/include/krb.h file I have a [source_dir]/include/krb.h.sed
file. What is the .sed extension?
Is there a complete set of installation instruction, instead of a bunch of
files?
