The FAQ mentions that its possible to do xdm/login using the kerberos
database for validating the login password (instead of using the
second field of /etc/password or /etc/shadow). Does anyone have such
a hacked xdm or login?

How do the folks at Athena setup the xdm logins on the student
workstations? Do the workstations really have a global /etc/password
file that duplicates the kerb database (or do they have a hacked xdm
"greeter")?
