Sorry I was so brief, but yes, those are the programs that I'm having the
problems with. I was trying to get out the door when I posted.

And I'm not having trouble with the other cygnus (or other programs that
need kerberos/des libraries) programs linking with the des library from
Cygnus, just this one.

One observation I do have about the libraries is that there is (according
to the docs from cygnus) a "des_set_key()" function... which is
non-existent from what I can see in the actual libraries.

Also, the register/registerd code seems to be different wrt its
memory-handling and variable type-ing

If you can get these to work w/ the cygnus des code, I'd like to know about
it...
