I received a similar error on our system. The DG support folks said that
I had to put a comma after the second word. (The first line goes
something like "static foo bar...." I had to put the comma after "foo")
That stopped the make from failing, but the compiler still produced a
warning.
I do not know if it is correct, but it got me past that point. Now I'm
just trying to find _another_ "undefined symbol" (I hope we can upgrade
soon!)
