I'm looking at kerberos(mit and ibm dce) and trying to determine what these
things can give me and what i really need in my environment(univ.).
I've read the faq and other references on kerb. and am going to install a
test setup pretty soon, but i still do not understand its relationship with
user accounts.
Does kerb. have its own db for user accounts?
If so then what is hesiod for and how does that tie into it?
If there are multiple methods of holding user passwd files, then what are
they?
How does it tie in and use nfs or dfs?
