CNS clients and BSDI servers

Is anyone out there successfully running the CNS clients with a BSDI
1.1 server? We are trying to with mixed results. Our environment
consists of Suns running 4.1.X and pentiums running BSDI 1.1. The
BSDI boxes are the kdc. telnet, rlogin, and most clients work fine.
Our problem is with kpasswd.
kpasswd fails thusly:
2 grump> kpasswd
Old password for tgsmith:
New Password for tgsmith:
Verifying, please re-enter New Password for tgsmith:
kpasswd: Broken pipe while attempting to change password.
Password NOT changed.
We are also having problems getting the CNS windows clients to work.
They always fail with the message "Time is out of bounds [krb_rd_req]".
If anyone has any insight into getting the CNS clients working the
BSDI 1.1 server I would really appreciate hearing from you.
I suppose I'll try compiling and running the CNS server on the BSDI
boxes on Monday...
