What you are asking is explained in appendex B (Examples of "Kerberizing"
Applications) of the AUTH-PILOT-REPORT document that is located on the
ESnet Information Server.
It is item 5 in my WWW_AND_FTP.SITES file I have from my anon ftp kerberos
directory. I have included that item below for you.
NOTE: To everyone else interested, I said in a previous message that the
directory was [.kerberos], but, I changed it to [.kerberos_5] since I am
really just collecting and making public version 5 materials since version 4
is pretty well documented. (Also, it makes room for a future version 6. %-) )
The ftp nodes are ubvms.cc.buffalo.edu or ubvmsb.cc.buffalo.edu.
Also, when time permits, I will convert this information into a web page for
easier access.
5) A selection of Kerberos & Security References on the
ESnet Information Server. The file "auth-pilot-report.ps" includes a
discussion of Cross Realm Authentication. It describes the enhancements
needed for Kerberos 5 to provide a robust and reliable Cross Realm
capability.
