Hi! I am attempting to write an Expect script to test the kerbd and kadmind
daemons for corruptedness. ;) I figured for kerbd, if I tried a kinit and
got anything back other than a prompt for my password, or garbage after that,
(and knowing full well the kerbd is alive and I am a valid principal) that
the kerbd was corrupted and needed to be restarted. For kadmin, I was going
to add and delete a principal within a script, and if it failed (given that
kadmind was up) the kadmind was corrupted and needed to be restarted.

My question is - has anyone done this before? I'm extremely new at Expect
and really don't want to spend 2 days trying to figure it out without
documentation (other than the man page) if anything similar already exists.
I appreciate any help (with my logic and anything else) from you Kerberos
gurus out there!

Thanks!

Cristine Webb
