Hi All!
Well, I'm trying to install kerberos on our system again, and I'm
having a problem. I can get krb5kdc to run, and use kinit/klist to
get a ticket/list the tickets. I used kdb5_edit to add the following
to the data base ( trying to get kadmin to work ):
entry: kadmind@EMBA.UVM.EDU
entry: krbtgt/EMBA.UVM.EDU@EMBA.UVM.EDU
entry: kamdin/wildthing@EMBA.UVM.EDU
entry: K/M@EMBA.UVM.EDU
entry: kadmind/wildthing@EMBA.UVM.EDU
entry: ertle@EMBA.UVM.EDU
entry: ertle/admin@EMBA.UVM.EDU
Notice that both kadmind@REALM and kadmind/machine@REALM are in the
database.
"kadmind&" seems to work just fine, but when I then try to run
"kadmin" it asks me for my password then prints this out:
Unable to Get Initial Credentials : Server not found in Kerberos database!
Does anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks!
