I have Kerberos V5 Beta 4 Patch 2 on HP-UX.
My command line for compiling differs from yours.
It looks like this:

 gcc -DTIME_WITH_SYS_TIME=1 -DUSE_SYS_TIME_H=1 -DPOSIX_TYPES=1
   -I./../../../include -I../../../include -c an_to_ln.c

I do not get any errors in the compile.
The difference could be in your use of -D_HPUX_SOURCE
since I see that the DBM definition in /usr/include/ndbm.h
is under #ifdef _INCLUDE_HPUX_SOURCE

I suspect that this part of the include file was skipped in my
case so there was no conflict.
