I'm a bit fuzzy on netware, but I've seen the kerberos side of the work.
I believe (and of course I may be wrong) that users can log into netware
servers using their kerberos passwords with the appropriate mods in
place, and more importantly it doesn't involve sending plaintext
passwords around.
