Hi All,

I am running Kerberos 4 on a Linux. I am having problems running kadmin
and kpasswd. When I log into the Linux box as an ordinary user and try to run
kpasswd to change my password, the server prompts me for my old password,
new password and verification. Then the server exits with the following error
message

REALMNAME
Segmentation fault

Any ideas why this is happening?

Also, when I run kadmin as as kerberos administrator I am unable to add new
keys. This is what happens.

I run kinit myname.admin - it runs OK. klist shows ticket file and principal
name etc.
I then run kadmin. When try to do ank pricipal, i get prompted for password for the principal.
Then i get the error:
kadm error: Can't find kerberos ticket or TGT

Is this because I am trying to run KDC and kadmin on the same machine?

I appreciate your help on this.
Thanks in advance.

Girish
