[4399] in Kerberos

I have been attempting to set up Cygnus Network Security on my
SPARCstation LX under Solaris 2.3
Realm-> HEALTH.STATE.NY.US
Kerberos server -> philip.health.state.ny.us
created database
added myself as admin
added rcmd.philip as serivce
-- all went well and according to the documention
kinit rls02 -- works, and with kadmin I have succeeded in altering my
password. Also set a Xyplex terminal server to query
the machine and accessed the server with my kerberos
ID and password. rlogin philip ON PHILIP, -- doesn't work,
message is:
philip% rlogin philip Kerberos rlogin failed: Can't decode
authenticator (krb_rd_req)
Password:
Also, once in this state NEITHER my kerberos password or local password
work in response to the login prompt.
Anyone able to relate some guidance on this? I am trying to get a support
quotation for Cygnus support, but as yet have not been able to get all
the stuff together.
