Hi. I'm having trouble with MIT V4p10's rlogin or rlogind on a
sparcstation running SunOS 4.1.3. I managed to get everything
installed, and the database set up (but I had to use the des library
from the Cygnus distribution -- the one in the MIT dist. wouldn't work
for me).
The problem I'm seeing is that when I rlogin to a local machine, using
kerberos authentication, the things that should be printing to the
screen don't print. The login seems to go all the way through, but
the only way you would know it is that you can execute commands on the
remote machine. There is no motd, no shell prompt, in general, no
stdout...
Does anyone know how I could fix this? (Aside from giving up on the
MIT dist, and just installing the whole Cygnus dist... which I may
just decide to do pretty soon...).
