after a hiatus of having to do real work, I'm back to trying to get
now-V5beta4patch3 to compile and run on my solaris boxen. Last hack
I had at this was at V5beta3, so things are a bit different, and thanks
to whoever redid the configuration process, cause it works infinitely
better now! (with the one minor thing of having to comment out a
stray signal(SIG_CHLD,do_child) in kadmind:do_child() cause it caused
a loop....)
so now I'm back to trying to get the rlogind to compile and run once again.
well, at least it compiles now, which is a great improvement over
the way it used to be, and it even logs you in! but nothing works right -
window size isn't transmitted, it uses the old-style /dev/ptyxx.. etc etc.
I know more or less what has to be done, having done it before, and
I almost got it working before too, with kudos to Doug Engert and
Charles Athey...and I can do it again... but of course why do it
again if it's already done?
so... does anyone have a properly working form of rlogin/rlogind
for solaris? or should I just start porting now?
