We recently "turned up" DNS in our test environment and it has caused our
Kerb V4 clients much grief. Kinit works OK, but when doing a
kremsh [HPUX-Cygnus V4] , it burps because gethostbyname(), via DNS,
returns "targethost.domainname" instead of "targethost", which is how
targethost is registered in the KDC.
Short term fix was of course to fix ns_switch file to read hosts then nis then
dns, but is there a more fundamental fix for the gethostbyname() anomoly ??
