Could somebody direct me to the RFC and possible source code for
   GSSAPI or Kerberos authenticated FTP.

The GSS-API RFCs are

>> Network Working Group J. Linn
>> Request for Comments: 1508 Geer Zolot Associates
>> September 1993

and

>> Network Working Group J. Wray
>> Request for Comments: 1509 Digital Equipment Corporation
>> September 1993

OpenVision donated its GSS-API Kerberos mechanism to MIT for inclusion
in Kerberos 5, so you can find get the source code from the current
krb5.4 release.

Our OpenV*Secure 1.1 product includes a GSS-API authenticated FTP
based on the current IETF working draft:

>> Network Working Group Internet Engineering Task Force
>> Internet-Draft Common Authentication Technology Working Group
>> Updates: RFC 959 S. J. Lunt
>> <draft-ietf-cat-ftpsec-05.txt> Bellcore
>> April 1994

Note that this document is a working draft and should not be used as a
formal reference.

To the best of our knowledge, OpenVision's is the only complete
GSS-API authenticated FTP implementation based on this document. The
source code is proprietary.

I hope this information helps.
