Stacey, Bones is V 4.  But far be it for me to be an expert on it.  You should find good (well okay) documentation in the version 4 docs directory, which you should be able to get.

As for those platforms, I have used none of them.  Try to pick one close to
one of the platforms that is in a #define somewhere (can't recall the file
just now)
