Cygnus binary (of Friday), SPARC-2, 4.1.3.

Well, I am mid install of the Cygnus version, right where I test 'kinit
rcmd.hostname ' before trying an rlogin. I get "kinit: Password incorrect"
but I swear I am using the same password I gave when creating the principal,
instance rcmd.host. Heck, I have gone back and started from scratch twice.

I am stuck in the following procedural loop. 5.1 is fine, 5.2 fails. I
reset the password, or rebuild, or start from scratch. Same result. Boy do
I feel stoooopid, 'cause I know I am doing something really klutzich. But
what?

       5. does `kinit rcmd.HOSTNAME' work?
            1. if `kinit' reports `principal unknown', then go back and
run `kadmin' again and correctly enter the item in the
               database.

            2. if `kinit' reports `incorrect password', then you've
given a different password than you did originally.
                  * If you remember the correct password, just delete
`/etc/krb-srvtab', then go back and run `ksrvutil
                    add' again.

                  * If you don't, you need to change the one in the
database to something you can remember.
                      1. Run `kadmin' again. Use `cpw rcmd.HOSTNAME' to
set the password to something you will
                         remember.

                      2. Delete `/etc/krb-srvtab' and run `ksrvutil
add' again. Note that the `Version Number'
will now be 2, since you've set or changed the
password twice. Keep careful count of this. If
you're not sure what the version number should
be, `kdb_util dump /dev/tty' on the kdc
machine to check the actual value.

Any clues appreciated.
