[3950] in Kerberos

Hi,
I need some help getting Kerberos 5 to run on a SUN SPARCserver 20
operating under Solaris 2.3
For the most part it compiles successfully (has some problems with
some of the bsd applications). krb5kdc and kadmind are running as
background processes, but I cannot use kpasswd to change my passwd
or use kadmin to set up new users.
When I run kpasswd and enter my old password, I get:
Unable to Get Initial Credentials : Server not found in Kerberos
database -1765328377
Protocol Failure - Password NOT changed
Similarly,
When I run kadmin and try to enter my password, I get:
Unable to Get Initial Credentials : Client not found in Kerberos database!
