I am attempting to set up a Kerberos slave and am having a lot
of problems. I am using Kerberos Version 4 and have a master
working ok and want to add a slave in case the master is down.
I currently get garbage back when running kprop to copy the
database to the slave. The following error message is displayed:

slavehostname: Password incorrect: while getting initial ticket

I traced the problem to the krb_get_in_tkt routine and when I
look at the contents of the received packet it appears to be
garbage. I am going ahead and work on this problem, but in the
mean time could someone tell me what the correct setup is for
a master slave configuration. I have looked around in all the
documentation I have on Kerberos (MIT, Cygnus, FAQ's, etc.) and
cannot find any discussion on how to set up a master slave
configuration. I am concerned that my setup is incorrect and
that is why I am getting garbage in this response. Thanks in
advance!
