RFCs 1508 and 1509 describe the GSS-API and C language bindings for it,
respectively, independent of mechanism-specific issues.
The Internet Draft draft-ietf-cat-kerb5gss-01.txt describes how Kerberos
V5 is to be used as a mechanism for the GSS-API.
