I have k5r3 working fine and dandy. The problem is when I try to run
the client stuff, specifically /krb5/bin/rlogin, from a machine
connected via slip. I get the following error message:

krlogind: Permission denied - Connection from bad port.

kinit seems to work fine on the machine. But I can't run rlogin. I get
the following error message in the console of the remote machine:

I assume these are from the kinit command:

Aug 16 14:12:54 booboo krb5kdc[21465]: AS_REQ: ISSUE: authtime 777071574, host 129.245.2.117, kxaghai@SRV.PACBELL.COM for krbtgt/SRV.PACBELL.COM@SRV.PACBELL.COM
Aug 16 14:12:55 booboo krb5kdc[21465]: DISPATCH: replay found and re-transmitted
Aug 16 14:12:56 booboo krb5kdc[21465]: DISPATCH: replay found and re-transmitted

and these are from the rlogin attempt:

Aug 16 14:13:13 booboo krb5kdc[21465]: TGS_REQ: ISSUE: authtime 777071574, host 129.245.2.117, kxaghai@SRV.PACBELL.COM for host/booboo@SRV.PACBELL.COM
Aug 16 14:13:14 booboo krb5kdc[21465]: DISPATCH: replay found and re-transmitted
Aug 16 14:13:19 booboo krlogind[21566]: Permission denied - Connection from bad port

I don't see any such messages from the machines connected via ethernet.
Any ideas?

Kambiz
