[3669] in Kerberos
K4 rlogin with K5 server

Hi all,
We have the following problem with KRB V4/5 compatibility:
We have installed K5-B4.1:
- K5 beta4.1 server
- krlogind from V5 distribution compiled with:
-DSERVE_V4 -DKRB4_KRB5_COMPAT ......
rlogin client from V5 distribution work fain.
Now we are trying to get to work some V4 clients:
- kinit (KRB4) work OK
- rlogin exits with the following messages:
rlogin client:
krlogind: Kerberos authentication failed.
./rlogin: Kerberos rcmd failed: rcmd protocol failure.
krb5kdc server:
krb5kdc[7260]: PROCESS_V4:APPL Request kejzlar.@ATHENA.ZCU.CZ ... for
rcmd.salome
krlogind[7363]: Authentication failed from salome.zcu.cz: Bad sendauth
version was sent
What is wrong ?
