DCE

SGI will release and ship the DCE secure core (Kerberos-based security,
RPC, POSIX threads, time, and cell directory services) in Q4 CY94 under
the name "DCE for IRIX." The SGI version is a vanilla port of the OSF DCE
version 1.0.2 source. The product is currently in Beta test.

The DCE for IRIX will be sold in three components: the DCE Executive,
the DCE Security Server, and the DCE Cell Directory Server.  The organization
of these components and their pricing reflect OSF's documentation
and royalty structure.

SGI has no announced plans to support DFS.
