I've released patchlevel 1 of the Beta 4 distribution. It contains a
few minor bug fixes, some portability fixes, and improvements to the
configure build system. This patch release is very much a work in
progress; while we have attempted to address all bug reports submitted
to us, not all bug reports or diffs have been folded in yet. In
addition, not all directories are being built with the configure build
system --- most notably, the BSD and telnet directories.
However, people who have had trouble building the beta 4 on their
platform may wish to try this new patchlevel. For this patch
release, I have provided context diffs in addition to a compressed tar
file of the entire tree. However, this may not always be possible for
all patch releases --- particularily when we remove the dependence on
the ISODE package, for example (coming soon to a patch release near
you!).
Patchlevel 1 can be found on athena-dist.mit.edu, in /pub/kerberos. Get
the README.KRB5_BETA4 file to receive information on how to access the
file. Once you have cd'ed into the distribution directory, the relevant
files are:
