Kambiz ~
I've recently compiled and installed krb5b3 on a sparc10 4.1.3 system.
The server daemons are running properly:
root 9272 0.0 0.0 120 0 p2 IW 10:22 0:00 /krb5/sbin/krb5kdc
root 9273 0.0 0.0 104 0 p2 IW 10:22 0:00 /krb5/sbin/kadmind
kinit works file. klist verifies the kinit. However, when I try
running kpasswd I get the following error message:
Old password for kxaghai@MYREALM:
Unable to Get Initial Credentials : Server not found in Kerberos database -1765328377
Protocol Failure - Password NOT changed
Any ideas?
Have you added the principal "kadmin/<REALM>@<REALM>" ? This principal needs
to be present for kadmind to do anything. You can just add it with a random
key, since no human will ever need to type it.
