The original query was about compatibility. It may well be that the query
was only about operational convenience pertaining to use of the OSF
implementation of a security server. Since the DCE security server
supports regular MIT Kerberos V5 service, everything is dandy.
To the extent that the query was about technology and specifications,
rather than the particular software implementation offered through OSF,
then the assertion that the services and protocols are NOT compatible
stands.
And by the way, Walt, personal attacks aren't very helpful in these sorts
of discussions. You might consider refraining from them.
