I had the same problem/error and fixed it by adding "allow_weak_crypto =
true" under [libdefaults] in /etc/krb5.conf
This works for me, at least on Debian Squeeze, Ubuntu Karmic, and Ubuntu
Lucid.
This was announced in /usr/share/doc/libkrb5-3/NEWS.Debian.gz.
