Since I've received a couple requests for pointers to the
kerberized ftp source, here's the relevant portion of the
Kerberos FAQ from athena-dist.mit.edu:
(b) FTP. The IETF Common Authentication Technology
Working Group is currently defining security extensions
for the FTP protocol. An Internet Draft describing
their work, and the source code for a modified ftp/ftpd
with the extensions, are now available via anonymous
FTP:
thumper.bellcore.com:pub/lunt/ftp.tar.Z
net-dist.mit.edu:tytso/ftp-wg/ftp.tar.Z
Please note that the extensions are still in the Draft
stage and may change at any time, in incompatible ways.
