"ss" and "et" work fine, no garbage in the generated "C" files.

The whole thing works fine, included the samples, but rlogin refuses to
do its work. The authentication by rlogin works ok (the fallback to
normal rlogin is also ok), but it stops somewhere when /bin/sh is being
invoked. When I press <Enter> the connection gets closed, no shell prompt
appears. I've removed the ATHENA modifications from the code, 'cause I
suspected that there was some extra validation required, but it still doesn't
work.

I've implemented the whole pseudo-terminal engine using System V
streams, but it seems to me that something is wrong anywhere in the
kstream routines. Next step: I'll replace all read's and write's with
select with timeouts, may be somebody is hanging anywhere in a blocking
read.

Carlos.
