I was recently reminded of an easy way to get more data: build xntp.
In fact, the DES code I referenced is the DES code that is in xntp3...
the authstuff/authspeed program does some runs on a datafile and
prints out the timing results (you might be able to get bulk survey
data by posting to comp.protocols.time.ntp, at that...)
