Dave,

Well, I kind of assume that I'm usually slow on the draw and you've had
tons of response to your query, but what the hay, here's my 2cents.

I'm working in the networking/communications group for Los Alamos National
Labs, and we're experimenting with Kerberos applications here. We are
examining the possibility of replacing our current authentication
technique with Kerberos, and to be viable it would have to support a
large cross section of machines/operating systems, one of which is VMS.

We have purchased a site wide licence for Multinet, which provides
Kerberized applications such as Telnet. We have written a client that
requires the user be authenticated, and when I converted it to VMS from
UNIX I got lots of good help from a guy name Sam Sjogren (sjogren@TGV.COM)

At anyrate, I can recomend the MultiNet product for VMS.

Glenn

Naturally these are my own opinions and not necessarly those of my
employeer.
