not so, ted; before my paper, asynchronous key-distribution was the obstacle.
commercial and business institutions are quite accustomed to trust
relationships. after all, electronic funds transfer currently entrusts
fabulous sums to DES encryption hardware whose key-distribution security
is weaker than kerberos'.
