The software that MIT created to allow MIT Kerberos V4 and AFS to work
together does not under under MIT Kerberos V5. Furthermore, since MIT
will probably continue to run V4 for some time, it is unlikely that
they will update the code any time soon.

Geer Zolot Associates is a small company that specializes in
distributed computing and network security, and Kerberos in
particular. Our entire technical staff came from the Systems
Development group at MIT Project Athena, and one of our founders (Dan
Geer) was Manager of Systems Development at Athena during the time
that Kerberos was created.

We can provide an integrated Kerberos V5 / AFS solution for you. We
use Kerberos V5 in-house exclusively, provided more than 50% of the
publicly available patches for the current version, and support it
commercially.

If you would like more information, call me at (617) 374-3700 or send
me email at bjaspan@aktis.com. (Before Monday, 2/8, call me at (617)
367-2010 instead.)
