Ultrix Kerberos, in its infinite wisdom, puts ticket files in
/var/dss/kerberos by default, not /tmp. Hence if that directory doesn't
exist, or it doesn't have write access for mortals, you'll get this
very helpful error message.

So, EITHER, create /var/dss/kerberos and give it the same permissions as /tmp
OR setenv KRBTKFILE /tmp/myticket to put it in a more sensible place. I
recommend that latter, as non-DEC kerberos codes will cope better, and
it's a per-user setup rather than per-system.

BTW, DECathena Kerberos puts the tickets in /tmp. Daft.
