In response to my question, it seems that Sun allows:

rsh -n $host "blah blah blah"

while the bsd standard (as in the man pages . . .)

is:

rsh $host -n "blah blah blah"

so Kerberos's rsh passws the -n in as the hostname.


So much for standards.
