Hello, folks.
It is our intent to require at least Bind version 8 in order to
support KDC or realm DNS lookups in Kerberos 1.4. doing so will
simplify our configuration tests and our portability.
If you have an operating system that still uses Bind 4 you will need
to either build a newer Bind before building Kerberos or disable DNS
lookups.
If you believe this is the wrong direction for us to move in, please
let us know very soon.
