[2219] in Kerberos

Hi,
I am trying to build the latest (patch9) version of
kerberos on a SPARC running SunOS4.1.1. All seems well save for
a couple of errors I am unfamiliar with:
>./make_commands std_requests.ct
>ld: cmd17153.z: ld: can't mixed -r with -Bstatic or -A flag
and later:
>cc -O -I.././include -I../util/ss -DBSD42 -DATHENA -DKERBEROS -DVFS -DSunOS=41> -DNDBM -target sun4 -c kadmin.c

I think I have the defines right (see the above) and all else builds (with
a few warnings) until the kadmin fatal error. Obviously, it fails on the
two files: std_requests.ct and kadmin_cmds.ct (Sorry for the ignorant question
but how do these generate "c" files. All you guru's can take time out
to laugh histerically here :-)
What am I missing here? How have those of you that use Kerberos on Suns
built it?
