Two corrections to the above statements:

- Eudora definately DOES support Kerberos 5; I have personally tested it on
  MacOS X and Windows.

- AFAIK, Outlook does _not_ support GSSAPI in a portable manner.  It may
  do some form of Kerberos with Exchange, but I've never been able to
  convince it to do GSSAPI with a non-Exchange mail server.  If someone
  could convince me that I'm wrong, please feel free :-)
