Unfortunately (as I understand it) no export-approved version of V5
exists, not even as a de-DES-ified version like bones. Thus your
fixes are essentially closed to the Internet community that lies outside
the USA.
Meantime if you have any guidance on how V4 users should modify the
/etc/services registrations being used by k* utilities, that would be
helpful for semi-technically illiterate people like me!
