Hello all,

I've got mit-krb5 v1.2.7 and openafs v1.2.8 setup and installed. Right
now OpenAFS is using it's kaserver for authentication but obviously I
want to use the krb5 server to do it.

I did the reading and tracked down the "AFS to Kerberos Migration kit"
at ftp://ftp.cmf.nrl.navy.mil/pub/kerberos5/ and am following the
instructions. The problem is that when I try and configure and compile
kerberos using the --with-afs option the build fails in the appl/bsd
directory while linking kshd saying it can't find the library "auth".
I've looked and the only library matching this is in the
/usr/afsws/lib/afs directory named libauth.a. There is also a
libauth.krb.a. I've tried making sure these directories are in the ld
cache and still am having problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is the last step in
setting up my ldap+krb5+afs network and am really excited about it and
looking forward to playing with it some.

Thanks,
Rich
