Hello to all;
I am working on Kerberos V4 with the australian version of DES library. After having a number of problems (both during installation & operation) kerberos now works fine except for one problem (during rlogin) which may be caused by my own local environment. Here is the situation :
bruyere$ ./rlogin derain
Kerberos rlogin failed: Can't decode authenticator (krb_rd_req)
Password:

Connection closed.

As you might observed, it asks me for the `password` even if it "Can't decode authenticator". When I gave the password, it connected me to the remote machine momentarily and exits after having done a "core dump" (on the remote machine).
If not for this problem, the demo serv/client and the other "r" services all work. Even "rsh derain", which is equivalent to "rlogin derain", works normally.
any suggestion is appreciated ...
