Hi all, thanks for helping on my previous post on getting TXT records and
SRV records working.

Turns out Arun Perinkolam had the answer that worked for me: you can compile
with
 -DKRB5_DNS_LOOKUP and -DKRB5_DNS_LOOKUP_KDC
and you can just have a minimal krb5.conf with only
 [libdefaults]
    dns_fallback = on

(I'm sure theres a way to get it to not use these entirely, but I don't have
time to find it)
